Overhanging the dunes of North Cottesloe Beach, Barchetta is a modern contemporary café / restaurant with relaxed cosmopolitan dining. The menu is as refreshing as the view over the ocean, showcasing simple innovative dishes with a modern Italian influence. We are open for breakfast from 6.30am Monday - Saturday, and from 7.00am Sundays. Please note that during the winter months we are closed both Sunday and Monday nights. Barchetta opened in the Summer of 2002 on the beachfront at North Cottesloe as a must-experience beachside restaurant. In this time Barchetta has grown to be a daily ritual for the many who come up from the beach, or pop in from the foot path for a well-deserved break after a run or or a stroll along the boardwalk. Barchetta, which means ‘small boat’ in Italian, welcomes all, in your bathers or your best suit, and has an infectiously stunning view at any time of the day, whatever the season! This is the perfect spot to stop and watch the waves roll by. Enjoy premium specialty coffee, sip a glass of wine sourced both locally and abroad, and enjoy the finest produce this region has to offer. As the sun sets, grab a balcony table for a magical evening by the sea. And if these are already taken, dont despair..with floor to ceiling windows on three sides of the restaurant, the magnificent indigo sweep of the Indian Ocean is available to all. Day or night, and through all the four seasons, Barchetta is a fabulously unique venue.
